Lets see, oil falls, dollar gains, and the market is set to rally on news of a government plan to stabilize fanny/freddie without actually taking them over.

Yep, the end is near.
That said, I have 1000 rounds of 7.62x39mm, a generator, a stockpile of water purification tablets, a fully stocked pantry of non-parishable food, a garden, plenty of fishing tackle, waterproof matches + a fire starting flint and various other disaster/survivalist stuff stashed away. I’ve always lived by the motto of “plan for the worst, hope for the best”. It’s why during the october storm we were warm, dry, well fed and kicked back watching TV.
