A friend of mine is striking out on a new adventure, he has always been a car enthusiast. Although this doesn’t relate to 240’s or even Nissan’s car guys / gals will appreciate what he is doing. Here are the details of his goal and how to follow what he is doing. The below is quoted with permission from him, from his website.
“The Infamous Project” consists of 2 cars being completely transformed in just 3 months time! These projects will show you how just a regular guy (myself) with regular tools and a vision can make some extra ordinary transformations.
The cars being featured are my personal:
1992 BMW 325IS AC Schnitzer
1989 Mustang GT Convertible
Now here is the best part about this entire project!! Everyone can watch LIVE and keep up to date with how the project is coming online through my website!
Once the two cars are completed, The Infamous Project plans to show both cars at the Performance World Automotive Show 2010 in Toronto Canada March 11th-14th.
I have been overwhelmed with support thus far and the website was just released on November 1st! Please pass this along to friends, other forums and whomever you feel would be interested Your support is greatly appreciated
Aiight Farmer I asked him what he is doing with those seats and asked him about his expected budget. I’ll let you know. I don’t get the fastest responses from him right now as he is still in Australia finishing up his school. I also work shift so I apologize for any lag in responses!
Infamous informed me that SON has generated over 100 hits to the site since I posted this! He wanted to thank you guys for the interest and keep up the interested he is very excited to get the web cams up and running and begin wrenchin, having his tools gather dust for almost a year is killing him.
I am trying to join in and contribute to every forum that supporters have been kind enough to help promote my project! The website has had over 3000 page views in the first two days and it has all been from Facebook and Online Car Forums. It’s amazing the amount of feedback and support comes from these forums!
I know I am not building a 240 but I know any enthusiast can appreciate what I am doing! I encourage you all to ask questions, send feedback, join my FB page and promote the project in any way you can! Send the link to friends, post on other boards etc! It is a lot of work trying to do this on my own! If you want to contribute by all means donations are accepted too!
Thanks again for all the support! And yes… that was the before pic of the BMW as i received it! As for mustang rear seats… let me know what you need and I will locate you a set!

Just wanted to let you guys know that you have all contributed wonderfully to traffic to my site! I hope you all continue to spread the word and keep checking back! I know the project doesn’t start for a bit yet, but I will soon have a schedule posted of the project time line so you all have an idea of when what will be done when!
Preliminary schedule is up for those that are interesting in marking the day(s) they are interested to watch! I still need to input some more details and fine tune the colors!
First off, Infamous, welcome to Southern Ontario Nissan 240sx’s online forum. You’re welcome to post here as you may garner some interest from the membership. We love to see cars built with handling & horsepower as well as and equally cars built for drifting.
FYI to all, the streaming is tested and there are a couple new features to the website! WATCH LIVE link is now up and there is a NEWS tab for discussion and comments… It’s starting to all come together! Looks like I will be doing an M3 cam swap now too thanks to a new sponsor
BMW render will be done in one week! Just an update for those who are interested!! Check out the Mustang one that was done below!
Sponsorship proposals have been sent out to Mustang suppliers, Steeda, Maximum Motorsports, Cervinis and Racraft! So cross your fingers for me! (also working a deal on a Vortech supercharger)
Bimmersport have kindly donated servicing fluids for the ACS beast and an X-brace!
Oakville Motorwerks will soon be creating a custom 3" race midpipe with race cat.
