Laverty spitting in his face during that was kind of stupid. A ref sees that and who knows if he’d get suspoended for the Championship. But ya… Rochester was playing stupid the last bit of the game. I knew that once it was out of reach they wuld just get ultra physical by the time the game ended.
ill be there for the championship game, and it was BS on the part of rochester for that nonsense at the end, but I guess you have to hate what you can’t be.
Let’s Go Bandits!

STEVE DIETRICH NAMED RBK GOALTENDER OF THE YEAR
The naming of the 2006 National Lacrosse League season awards winners continues today with the RBK Goaltender of the Year Award.
Steve Dietrich of the Buffalo Bandits has been named the 2006 RBK Goaltender of the Year, winning the award for the second straight season. Since the awards inception in 2002, Dietrich becomes the first two-time winner of the award, doing so in back-to-back seasons.
Steve Dietrich totaled league bests in goals-against average (9.97), saves percentage (.808) and overall record by a goaltender (10-4) this season. He was the only goaltender to record a goals-against average below 10 and the only one to record a saves percentage higher than .8 this season.
Logging the fourth most minutes (812:34) of any goalie in 2006, Dietrich played in 15 games for the Bandits and helped the club to an 11-5 record and the top overall seed in the playoffs. The veteran anchored a Buffalo defense that gave up only 167 goals in 2006, a league best.
The award announcements continue on Thursday when the league will announce the winner of the “Les Bartley Award” for Head Coach of the Year. The award was won by Bob Hamley of the Arizona Sting last season.
The league will announce its season award winners over the next two weeks, leading up to the 2006 RBK NLL Championship Game presented by Edge Active. The Buffalo Bandits host the Colorado Mammoth on Saturday, May 13th at 6PM Eastern. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and Fox Sports World Canada.

Hey… if you can’t make it at least you are supporting the team… getting them a good TV rating is needed too. Colorado fans will help with that since they live so far away…
Found this nice background… thought I’d pass it on.
