The Ricer in 2008:

Thats the main reason for the brakes( run a small wheel). The brakes stop plenty of cars that trap over 170 mph, so Im sure I will have no problems. Dave you are right though, I cant talk/type. I suck at it. If you care that much please bring a chalk board and chalk to the shop and teach me!

Remember, without people like me your car would still sit there in its stock form.

no, without you, it still runs.

:grouphug:

I kid. I kid.

that strut bar is pimp. Its alot lighter then you think

it’s nice. I was just saying if weight-redux was the prime goal, well… why have what you don’t need.

I do road race and lemme tell ya, anything that can come off and still work ok without it? well, that’s like free power/brakes/shocks. so why NOT. hell, take it off, sell it, that’s part of another set of slicks? just my $.02

He needs the smaller brakes to run a 15 inch wheel for slicks, the weight reduction is just an added benefit.

You bring the chalkboard and teach Em some grammar, I’ll teach you some reading comprehension.

Get some carbon doors, duct deletes, and buschurs front and rear under tray’s. Those 4 things are a 5-10mph or better gain.

Carbon doors on a car without a full cage? :uhh:

Do you guys do day care too?

:gay3:

He sells and represents parts with what is used on his car. The bar is like 1 lb, and it goes well with the rediculously clean engine bay. You’d be suprised the attention the clean engine bay brought at the shoot out. It was bar none the cleanest EVO/engine bay there and seeing the parts(strut bar) on the car only helps them sell. How people see the car is the same setup it goes down the track with.

weight reduction = buy a car that isnt a 4 door.
Evos and subbys make No sense.

If you stop by with Dave we have a nice cubby for ya.

The car should have been caged last year or the year before with times it runs… I guess I was just thinking if it were my car get the weight off and put the cage in that it has been needing…

oh and…

and that car weighs… 2620

I was joking around, obviously. :rolljerk:

:word:

show me a modern AWD car lighter then an Evo.

I told you this in another post. Often, 4 doors cars are lighter. When you can compete with these “4 door” cars, then I will start to respect your thoughts :sario:

true, but my modern I really meant something you can buy new nowadays or within the last couple years.

Okay so…semantics. Do you count WRXs as modern? The GC went up to 2001, which is only a year behind the WRX.

If you meant modern as in brand new, then you should’ve said that. I guess DSMs count as a classic to you?
