"A 66-year-old Ellwood City woman, whose name was not released, told police she dropped a voucher for $54.89 around 11:10 a.m. Aug. 13 and someone picked it up and played it in a slot machine. Officials tracked down the 71-year-old man from Urichsville, Ohio, who played the voucher and he reimbursed the woman. Police did not charge the man.

“Jesse Westehoff, 70, of Sewickley told police he put a voucher for $59.60 into a payout machine around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and received a voucher for 60 cents. He did not see that the $59 in cash had been dispensed, and thinking the machine had malfunctioned, went to get help. Meanwhile, another man discovered the cash and took it. Officials were unable to locate the man, who faces a theft charge.”
old people get confused and it’s a crime to find free money? I hope the people on tape clearly saw them drop the voucher and grabbed them or something. Doesn’t seem like a crime to me to find cash in a payout machine… happened to me in vegas, i’m sure it happens a lot
