The Secret Effort to Kill Health Care Reform

Not! Well unless you believe Stroked’s BS.
Let this be a lesson to you.

everyone is so inclined to believe that he came out and just said what he was going to do and he did it. This is ubsurd and in germany just like in any other country where the government wants to commit attrocities, the propoganda machine was rolling. Hitler was a very smart man and did a very good job in the beginning of his “presidency” of making the people think he was a proponent of peace.

I find almost all of the current healthcare debate a waste of time because none of it fixes anything. Show me a plan that actually has merit and I would debate it.

Yes you are right Hitler never published a book stating his beliefs and views of the world and the Jews.

:rolljerk:

Are we talking about the same Hitler? Look at what he did prior to WWII, nothing peacful in his actions or speeches.

Don’t you get it by now? History is skewed according to the beliefs of far right-wingers. Just like how they believe the US was intented to be a Christian nation.

prior to world war 2 he lead revolts against the government in the name of peace and liberty. He was involved in the beer hall putsch and only served 7 months in jail. He wantd to enthrone a far right wing nationalistic government. This does not mean that he was perceived as a violent or dangerous man. Lots and lots of people were involved int he beer hall putsch.

ur fucking kidding me right. You obviously havent read the federalist, or the anti federalist papers, both of which contain vastly different viewpoints but both mention rather often the role that religion, christianity in general, played in the creation of this country. If they are too hard of a read for you, then try the 5000 year leap. Either way, dont just spew shit that you cant back up, because you are extremely wrong on what you just said.

See.
:bigclap:
The United States was created to escape religous prosecution and to up hold a seperation of church and state. Nice try.

Fucking hell that worked really well. I bow to your superior shit stirring.

of course seperatiopn of church and state was recognized. Religious leaders did not contribute or even take part in public office. But they were still seen as local role models and positions of respect. The founders often acknowledged that they, the federal govdernment will always stay out of debates and discrepencies between different religious groups and let them work it out on their own. But they wrote our founding documents on the morals and basis of christianity, they describe the way they did this thouroughly through their very own essays and pamphlets.

Getting back on track…

I know this feeling. It was hell trying to get health insurance to even get looked at when I had softball sized groths in my neck. I went into a local hospitals ER without health insurance, 6 hours later and a ct scan, I was told it wasnt cancer and that I would be fine. If it wasnt for a family member being extremly close with an Onicologist (sp?), I would have DIED waiting to get health insurance because I made too much money being laid off. I think a lot of these people who are critizing this have never been in a situation where there is no way of getting health insurance and have to face the rediculous cost of heathcare and prejudice not having health insurance leads to in emergancys.

Im not saying that Obama’s healthcare plan will make everything all better, but at least he is trying to do something.

FYI, “seperation of church and state” appears nowhere in our founding documents. It’s not there. It’s something we decided later on was implied.

First line of the first amendment:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”

That’s it. No formal seperation.

Thomas jefferson wrote a letter to the danbury baptists assuring them that there would “be a wall between church and state” because the danbury baptists feared persecution from government. Thomas jefferson assured them this would happen by including it in the first amednment. Yes the first amendment is an implication to the seperation of church and state.

Hey did anyone see the new dollar coin yet? Aww, Nevermind.

What’s on it? Masonic symbology? Hammer and sickle? Obama’s birth certificate?

The “IN GOD WE TRUST” is on the edge/rim so you really can’t see it and it will wear off in no time. Nice.

 Beat you by a few seconds.

Someone should install an integrated Snopes checker into BED’s e-mail that works like an antivirus client. Would just pop up ERROR: BULLSHIT DETECTED before he even read it, and save everyone a lot of time
