The Trump Presidency Discussion Thread (Non-Meme version)

i would happily contribute to his hotels and golf courses without even using their services to help him regain what wealth he may have lost or to support any eventual bullshit legal proceedings.

the reason for doing so would be to demonstrate to anyone else who makes an effort to do what he’s done that there are millions of us who see that it matters enough to take those chances.

It almost like the republicans were the snowflakes all along…

Better than cult45

loses the election and 50+ court cases including those with trump appointed judges HURRR HES STILL GUNNA WINNN

This is why the left can’t meme.

i really wonder what he does next. it’ll probably be rad AF.

You mean, appears to lose the election then follows long established legal processes in several states that exist to offer transparency and redress for very close elections.

Criticizing Trump for doing something the other side would have certainly done (and has) if in a similar position, as well as doing something that only strengthens the certainty of the election (good for Biden) seems a bit silly.

Now I’ll definitely join you in that some of the BuT hE cAn StIlL wIN crowd was basing their ideas on prophecies, cult-like rigidness and ignorance of the process. :wheelchair:

People have been talking 2024, but my guess is that he becomes the political James Dean; he doesn’t run again and creates an entire ethos of what if. Instead he becomes a king maker and can always troll the media into thinking he’s going to try again.

Everyone forgets how many times he floated the idea to run for different positions in the past. Remember the NY governor race years ago? He even had a fund raiser here in Buffalo.

Also remember that Rodger Stone always said Trump would only run (for any political office) if he knew it was a sure thing. And he’d been trying to get Trump to run since the 80’s.

i honestly dont even know whats true or false anymore…

It sounds like they’re attempting dueling electors, but I’m not sure if they actually can. It seems more like a “what if” the remaining lawsuits go through which is highly unlikely. And even then they don’t have enough electors to make it happen since Biden is already over the threshold.

1876: Dueling electors

The most contentious and controversial presidential election in American history was arguably the 1876 contest between Republican Rutherford B. Hayes and Democrat Samuel J. Tilden.

In Southern states, the voting was marred by threats of violence from Democrats who aimed to keep black voters away from the polls. The Democrats also created ballots that carried pictures of famous Republican Abraham Lincoln to try to trick illiterate voters into choosing Tilden.

All part of the grift. Keep those donations flowing. Why not have alternative senators? An alternative president while we’re at it?

yeah i wish i could just check-out for a while on all of this.

every time i go back to southern US dudes they insist this is all part of a larger gambit but i dunno bro…

That last line :fire::fire::fire:

tough to find but here is jesse binnall’s opening statement and the transcript:

It just blows my mind that speeches like this are “tough to find”. If the shoe was on the other foot, this video would be the headline of every 6:00 news outlet every day. We’d never hear the end of it. How big is the rabbit hole that’s censoring everything?

honestly that is part of the problem. the fact that it’s so difficult to find things that are so important is part of what makes it so disheartening. you know that all of this stuff disappears in weeks too.

if you show some of this content to the “where’s the evidence” people you just watch their brains go into survival mode in order to preserve their current state. it’s a real shame.

Does anyone stop to think about what has been hidden/censored from the public for all these years prior to Trump? It’s interesting because when you think about his notion of “drain the swamp” it shows that it wasn’t just about certain actors/individuals that needed to be exposed, but the system in general. Nobody of his importance was able to bring this stuff to light without being deemed a conspiracy theorist in the past but the fact that we have to dig and dig just to find statements of record is incredible.
