I’ll  or  this depending on what the reconciliation between house and senate looks like. If I lose my property tax deduction this is going to suck for me. Collins (not that Collins) says it’s in and they need her vote so I’m pretty confident we’ll see the 10k capped property tax deduction in the final bill Trump signs.
I hope so else Im fucked to. Its like our only deduction. Even 10k seems pretty low, Im getting close to that in total taxes and I have a fairly average property here in NY-istan.
If by wrong-doing you mean Flynn lying to the feds, then of course no one can disagree with that especially after today.
But if by wrong-doing you mean “Trump colluded with the Russians” then if, after you’ve looked at the documents released today, you think they advance that claim then you’re the delusional one
Keep in mind we’ve known what Flynn said to the Russian ambassador for months now because his name was illegally unmasked on a recorded call. And what was talked about has already been determined to be of no consequence or collusion. And it was within the scope of his job to do so. The problem is he lied when asked about it. And that’s what he plead guilty to today.
Also keep in mind this all happened after the election, and specifically after the “collusion” allegations started up.
Oh, and by the way if there was a criminal conspiracy, not only would Flynn have plead to these charges today but he would have had to admit to being part of that conspiracy / having knowledge of that conspiracy. Neither of which he did.
i read the court document, so I know what it said. I agree that it doesn’t imply contact that indicated “collusion” or whatever.
I’m just saying, don’t be so dismissive. 4 people weren’t arrested for no reason.
Another thing to not about Flynn’s situation is that it is obviously a plea deal. He’s going to rat about SOMETHING. What is that something? I don’t know, could be major could be minor.
Oh we agree, they were not arrested for the fun of it. They were arrested for specific offenses. Flynn’s offence doesn’t have anything to do with election “collusion” though.
Where we don’t agree is that he’s going to “rat” about anything. It’s more likely that his plea agreement (not “deal”) to the same charge as was filed might have lesser terms because he’s being given a courtesy for his years of service, the fact that he’s dead broke, having a clean record, etc. Of course he’d be expected to cooperate and testify if necessary as part of a guilty plea.
Plus the guy is admitting to lying, so those who think he’s going to be a star witness are out of their minds. This plea by definition destroys his credibility as a witness.
I know people hate the “fake news” shit but holy hell did ABC screw up yesterday. And we all know more people saw the “fake” story yesterday than the real one…
ABC News Slammed for Flynn Report Correction: ‘Huge Effing Difference’
So what’s the deal with recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital? Honestly asking because the headlines make it seem like a big deal but with all that’s going on I haven’t had time to search through the memestream to find out the non #FakeNews side of things.

PS… I have been enjoying more and more of my left friends running the tax calculator over the past couple days and having to admit that they’re keeping more of their money but somehow this tax reform is still the worst thing ever.
Now remember, Trump said that his personal finances and that of his family were off limits and if they became part of the investigation that it would be ‘crossing a line’ with him. Jared and Ivanka also do business with that bank. (Obviously) I hope that he’s not stupid enough to try firing Mueller.
Side note: Other sources are only saying that the information has been subpoenaed, not turned over already. I chose to use The Guardian because they’re fairly high on the list for credibility.
Yeah he almost begged Muller to look into them by saying this. This is the spot with the most potential for getting him into non-Russia-collusion trouble.
Also if there is anything interesting in these deutsche bank documents it’s going to be leaked.
“We have confirmed that the news reports that the Special Counsel had subpoenaed financial records relating to the president are false,” Sekulow told Reuters in a statement. “No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources.”
