If you look back to right before they find they prison when they were looking at the map they are talking about being on the move becuase of “herds” of zombies moving through the area and just going in circles.

poor hershel, gets bit then gets his leg axed off below the knee, personally i think they moved to fast through the prision and were not carefull enough. i did dig the riot shield seemed like a good piece of equipment with the right 1 hander. all in all loved it, would liked to have seen more Michonne.

AMC is gonna make bank, I wish HBO would pick it up as they would have an epic budget.
It seems like they’re still loosely following the comic, which has been going on for a while, and they’re still writing new ones. They have more than enough material to take it pretty far and as long as people are still interested, which they will be. I don’t see them stopping anytime in the near future.
