that might be true, but those of us who can afford a $20-25K car might want to buy something new rather than buy a 3 year old S2000 or 350Z. in a few years the people who drive their 15 year old shit boxes will finally be able to afford something nice too.
well we are complaining about automotive manufactuers but if you think about it someday these g35’s,350z’s, and s2000’s will also become affordable to there younger generation, they cant hold there 30,000 dollar price tags for ever, and someday down the line there are going to be s2000s with rusted out rockers, and 250 000km motors just like the 240sx. and really hoy many other rwd sport compact cars are there from the 240sx age (89-93)
I doubt an F20c will make it to 250k, what with the 9000RPM redline and all.
you’re all forgetting the basics, most enthusiasts are no better than ricers… either they are genuine poseurs that tried to buy into the status or they are hard parkers just act like it
so yea when 17yr-old asian kid gets a honda fit for his birthday you know his first inclination will be to rice like all the other honda owners, partly due to the availability, partly the bandwagon effect
a good question becomes… if all your friends are ricers will you rice too?
How about the ol’ stanger? 2007 Ford Mustang V6 $25 949. 4L with 210hp, doesnt seem that bad to me. i havent heard of many problems with the new mustangs, then again i havent been listening either. they dont look too bad either.
horray for throttle steering :)…
