Here are some things that I miss about Buffalo - things that some people take for granted (not in order):

  1. Ease of commute
  2. Galleria
  3. Mighty Taco
  4. Super Wal-Mart
  5. Pizza and wings (both together and separate - the pizza here is pretty bad and I’m not brave enough to try the wings)
  6. Drive thru ATMs
  7. Snow
  8. Cheep mortgage / rent
  9. highway layout
  10. Tim Hortons
  11. Sabres / Bills
  12. The people
  13. My son’s daycare center
  14. Golden Duck Restaurant’s Saturday/Sunday Brunch

Ehhh! Well I miss hanging out up North and all those good times. I might be out in Cali for a few days this summer. I’ll have to give you a ring if I end up in your neck of the woods.

WHAT ABOUT MEEEE??

I don’t think I’d miss the snow, but I can agree with some of the other stuff we take for granted. We get so used to 20 minute commutes to anywhere we need to be, that we complain when it takes 30 minutes. Try living with 1 hr. + for normal commutes, and Buffalo seems like a dream.

u would be surprised about the snow…my cousins moved to NC about 8 yrs ago and they hope for snow when they come up here in the winter

I second numbers 1,3,5,8,10,12 and 14. I don’t miss the Galleria because we have Mall of Millenia, I don’t need Super Wal-Mart b/c we have super target 5 min from my house, I don’t miss the snow, we have drive thru ATM’s here, I never really went to Sabres or Bills games, and obviously I wouldn’t be missing a daycare center because hey, I don’t have kids.

But I definitely agree with the others :slight_smile:

I would miss:
-the pot holes
-the old people that are to cheap to move to Florida so they drive all day going 20mph slower than the speed limit
-the inconsistent weather
-the idea that $8.00 per hour isn’t low enough to be considered poverty

But for real, I would miss the fact that you can get anywhere in Niagara and Erie county within a 45 minute drive…and all my friends and family here. That’s pretty much it.

Im gonna have to go out on a limb here and say #10 is the only thing I’d miss.

Although,I was shocked when I tried mcdonalds new premium roast coffee its almost an exact duplicate of timmy ho’s.
