The lastest, and I will attest that Katrina is not his fault, by no means. But because of this “War on Terror” ( :lol: again ) we are unable to help our own citizens, on our own soil in a time of crisis. Although this won’t be the case, I would only hope that this incident goes down as a far worse tragedy than 9/11 because it is. Thousands more will die, with no cause other than lack of action from our federal government, and imcompetence on part of our president, for the 213897128937892 time.
You know, I could understand how some people could defend Bush before, about the war and what-not, but at this point it only makes you look just as foolish as he has made our country look. I think it is audacious that anyone could back such a person, and I have a feeling its only because they are republicans. or conservatives and can’t see past their party lines, because they are blindfolded by that line. It is what this administration has done for the past ~4 years, well too bad that the blindfold is starting to fall off, and America has started to wake up and see and feel and hate what shambles this Presidency has left the country in.
I hope during the next election that the Dems play that video of that poor man bawling out pleading for assistance, pouring out raw emotion and frustration. If someone came here and took Bush out of power and tried to implement communism because they thought it was right, there would be a ton of pissed off Americans, including myself. You can’t go around the world to different countries saying that they don’t know how to organize government. That’s how it’s alays been. Every country different than eachother. That’s why we have countries (divided land belonging to different governments, I mean) and the whole world is not called the United States of America. While we’re at it, let’s just go take over Russia. How does that sound? And then maybe after we can take over the UK just for shits and giggles. I say fuck war, it’s not worth it.
Sorry, I get a little heated about this issue. We have a ton of soldiers overseas, and that’s where this country’s mind is. So concentrated on that bullshit that we can even help people that are dying in our own country…and there’s nobody shooting or bombing them…It’s from a fucking hurricane!

and great presidents have nothing to do with who they are, or their beliefs. it has to do with what happens in the world while they are in office. great presidents happen by accident.
I thought the reason this whole mess started was because Iraq was ignoring/breaking UN deadlines from the original gulf conflict, which Iraq started by invading Kuwait. ZeroDaze fill me in. I know it started because we were enforcing some UN mandate from Desert Storm.
Assuming I’m right about that, I agree that the UN mandate had to be upkept otherwise we’d wind up with a give an inch/take a mile situation and UN mandates would no longer carry any authority. I just don’t think we should have done it without UN approval. (F*****g French…)
Regardless, we can’t leave now. We’re in too deep. If you think the rest of the world hates us as it is, just imagine if we pulled out leaving the country in anarchy?

This admin is the worst thing to happen to us in my lifetime (a relatively short as it may be) right in front the destruction of the economy by Bush Sr. What Clinton did was nothing, as speck. His Purjury did not jeopardize the lives of americans the way Bush has. If anyone deserves impeachment it is him, not trying to base what he has done as impeachable, but if there was ever an offense that deserves it, it is this.
