I LOVE the cts-v it changed my sights on that car!! I had a 05 with 40k on it, drove amazing cornered, braked, power was incredible. First mod slp loudmouth exhaust turned lots of heads haha. The 06 has a better rear end, the 05 rear cradle would hop under hard acceleration. I will get another for sure!

Yeah I had mine changed out under the factory warranty for the newer unit.
Also, the another issue I just had to deal with is the 3rd brake light which the neon ballast fails and it is a sealed unit so not easy to service.
GM wants $650 for the light, but you can find them used for about $200.
Also, the only factory options are sunroof and block heater.
So someone claiming to have one with all the extras does not know anything about the car.
Options are:
Light Platinum, color code 67U,
Black Raven, color code 41U
Red Line, color code 29U
Stealth Gray, color code 46U
Also here are production numbers for the first two years:
2004: 2,461
2005: 3,508
Red and stealth gray not available in 2004
My truck I have now is black, and while it sucks in the winter nothing beats the shine of black after a good detail.

Get rid of the chrome lip on the rims, get a taller tire, and smoke the chrome on the grill and you got what im going for

I do like the one Ron posted better, i was at work and didn’t have time to find a better looking one. Although it would be hawt if it was white with a carbon fiber hood and yellow headlights… probly drifts better then a 350z too…
