The blacked out look just doesn’t work for me on a luxury car. Probably cause I HATE black wheels. I did not like the color choices on the last gen, as I will never own a black or silver car so I was basically down to red or the gray.
You want rare, pick up a blue chip 2009 V.
Probably only a handful ordered and unique color.
Hey nice 4x4 mullet mobile. Get some suspension and learn how to drive.
That is my first choice for my next car coincidentally. Second choice is crystal red, 3rd is white diamond.
haha, you started! Damn your sensitive!!!
There were 2 crystal red’s at the woodward dream cruise V meet last year, and I do like that color. I am trying to not lock myself into a color incase a deal too good to be true shows up.
But if anyone picks up a V before the dream cruise, make sure to make it over to Michigan, we had at least 15 Vs last year and probably 30 this year.
Here are the many “shades” of blue chip. It is similar to my dad’s thunder gray chromoflair which seems to be a different color throughout the day depending where the sun is at in the sky.

Ron are you getting another 1st gen or are you implying you’re on the lookout for a a beast like your fathers?
Anyone else notice that Ron has V-Radar like Dan has Viper radar? He is like every other post in this thread! :mamoru:
The second gen cars take that styling to the extreme - I love the A&S look. 556 horse ain’t bad either
P in the V?
dammit… I really thought you stopped posting here
wait… I get a warning for saying I thought someone stopped posting and its ok to post a random plate…wtf!
Yeah, I pop up in GM threads a lot as well. But that is mainly because I am sitting in a building with a big GM logo in the center tower. But at the same time I will admit GM has in the past and even currently has some junk in their line up. So I wouldn’t claim to be a GM humper. Also, I have owned a Japanese, German, Swedish-ish, and an American car so I think I am well rounded.
The old man has an 08 STS-4 performance package edition (rare never seen another one) for a daily. He is a euro humper, but has a domestic for work and such. The toys are always euro.
As for my search for my search for V2, I have most of the funds put together for a late summer purchase. By then it will be almost 2 years in the market and the coupe will be rolling out and hopefully residuals rolling down hill, since currently they are holding hard.

Thanks Ron that’s awesome! I looked at it today and so far so good. I wonder what the hell was wrong with the PCM? Is that normal for these cars?
That is what I was thinking. PO was like “fuck this lemon, I’m outta here”
It also has not had a claim since 03/05/2008.
No clue on the PCM
Also, I just looked up the VIN for the build sheet.
Only interesting note is:
NE1 - 50-STATE EMISSIONS
NU4 - EMISSION - CALIFORNIA
Some people claim it has a tiny bit less power but I have never seen a dyno sheet to prove it.
Just figured you might want to know.
It doesn’t bother me too much. Every time I’ve had warranty work done it’s been for a few things at once. It’s impossible to find the time to get it to the shop.
Thanks again Ron for the info. Hopefully I’ll be posting pics soon.
