All this BF shit has me thinking about getting a TV/monitor…
I kind of wanted a baller as 50+ one, but it’s too much money for a 1080p resolution.
Since it’s going to be a monitor, it seems like the best bet would be to get an LCD.
or would it be better to just get a 768p (or w/e it is) and make it 50"+
What would be more awesomer?

see how under supported resolutions it doesnt list 1080i, thats ebcause this is just a 1080p monitor, and will not display 1080p nativley from blue ray or HD DVD or from a computer monitor, it may just be a mistype
also the contrast ratio on that tv is shit, it should be 3000:1 or greater, if u wanna talk tvs PM me and ill hook u up
that tv is crap. and if you are going to spend under $2k, here is a 50" that is 1080p as well. this tv is the tits.
its the one i have been stalking for months (in the 55") http://www.onecall.com/ProductDetails.aspx?id=31661
sony style specs:
walk into a best buy or sony style and compare this to any other HD on the floor. you will cry.
honestly i think it is the best display you can get for under $2k. the picture was very sharp.
but i’m not about to go an spend an additional $600 on a bluray or hi-def dvd player so i really have no reason to upgrade. with sony’s track record on new technology blu-ray will probably go nowhere a la:
betamax
memory sticks
minidisc players
