Ticket question on abstract

Just a stupid question, but how long does it take for a conviction to show on your abstract? Would it be as soon as you’ve been convicted or when you pay the fine? Or is there a length of time to that will show up when you get convicted. Just wondering as I’m for insurance renewal and just wondering if it’ll show up or not.

awaiting trial its not there.

upon conviction (+1-7 days) and for 2 years on the ministry and 3 years for insurance companies.

Dates go by conviction not the offence…

It normally goes on within a week to 2 weeks… but if the cop doesn’t turn in his paperwork within a month it is void…therefore your lucky…

best way to know for sure is to go to the ministry licensing office and ask for a drivers abstract - i think its like $12

yeah i was just wondering if upon conviction it goes on the abstract right away or not.

The above is for tickets only thou… If you get into an accident then its like 4-5yrs with the ministry and 6yrs with insurance

You can order your Driver’s Abstract here apparently (or get one from a Kiosk as well):
