Ticket question

In light of this thread: http://www.nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18190&page=1&pp=25&highlight=speeding+tickets

I got a ticket in the town of clarence. Will my lawyer still be able to plea it down to a few parking tix? I got a ticket for 64 in a 45.

I really dont care how much it costs, just as long as I dont get points…

was it from a trooper…from what i have seen usually having a lawyer always helps…and points arnt that bad

This is an interesting article:

It sounds like this will not affect courts around here, because from what I’ve seen you never plea bargin with the trooper anyway. In my cases it’s always been with the DA.

No West seneca popo.

in small country towns you do

Which is why I said our courts, around here. AKA, Amherst, Clarence, Hamburg, OP etc. I knew the little towns did this.

I have had tickets in clarence before, and always dealt with the DA. This is my 1st speeding ticket there though. It was a sheriff who issued the ticket… Im fairly sure that if I throw enough money at it I’ll get away w/o points…
