that idea would never work. Friends will join up and positive rep each other and their common enemies will get ganged up on. Even the mods take sides and cause some of the drama, so giving them sole responsibility of dishing rep points isn’t an option either. People will take it personal and it will just cause more fights and more drama.
Adding a rule or a point system will just make things more complicated and create more problems. There is already a system in place to weed out the shit, it’s called moderators…they need to take more action and get rid of the shit. IMO.

). I do what is asked of me. But, yea, the drama is up there. It’s not perfect like any forum but membership is increasing which is important.
Also, I cared a bit more then when I was living in Albany and a part of the scene.

now if i remember correctly, there was just a whole thread that was closed and locked into the moderator section when someone called out someone elses dad… and the only reason no one was banned right away was because the people in question were not mods…

I definately care but living outside the area makes it difficult to participate. Again, I am an active member even remotely. I don’t have to live/breath the scene to moderate.

Why? Because the comment was directed towards his wife and it was a word that is taboo to females. It was also directed to the ONE person. The other was daddy coming onto the ball field because no one wants to play with his son. It was directed at the masses.
