Thats not a refinery thats a offshore oil drilling site. It pumps out crude oil thats still needs to be refined and its not owned by canada its owned by a multinational oil company.

That car sucks.

  1. It still uses fuel, along with compressed air.
  2. The compressor needs to be recharged
  3. It looks like pooptyshmoop.

Mine will run solely on Oxygen (somehow), no need to recharge and it will look cool.

read the page again, it only uses air to recharge the tanks or go above 50km/h

it’s that mentality that stops autmakers from being able to produce cars like this and sell them here.

time to start syphoning again…muahaha :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh to go back to the days when it was 40/liter. I miss those days

Come near my tank and I’ll hit you with a baseball bat. j/k, but thats what will start happening. People fighting over gas, its just a matter of time.

Andrew.

i pray that someone trys to come to my home and steal my gas, they will meet me little freind, i just want a fucking excuse to beat the fuck out of some lowlife

Note to self: don’t syphon from 240’s.

anybody want to take bets in what the price hike will for the last long weekend of summer? $1.32???

I have a feeling 94 will be close to a buck fifty

… I remember the days when it was .65 a GAL… before canada went metric…

thos prices you see listed are ‘spot’ prices, what it would cost to buy a barrel or 10 . right now… do you think that the oil companies actuall do that?? LOL no they buy on spec 1-2-3 years in advance… get rates on it that would make you ill ( as an example I have ties to a large plastic mgf. they use allot of oil in thier buisness every year, they buy on spec one year ahead… last year thier spec price on just 4000 barrels was in the $0.32-0.35/barrel range… this is while we saw the ‘spec’ pricing of $60+

So what your seeing is the oil companies LYING their asses off becuse they know that most Canadians are too apathetic and placid to actually stand up and take them, the oil companies, to task… thier in business to make money, you really think those insipid pie chart diagrams you see at EVERY frikin pump actually mean anything… that little sticker has got to be the best white elephant PR booster in corporate history… so next time your at a pump or have the displeaser to meet or see any sore of managemnt figure from any oil company, ( it’s the GTA , it could happen )… you ask him what thier ACTAUL pricing on spec was when they bought the oil last year or the year before was…

It’s at 126.9 tonight, I kid you not.

One place in Whitby must be having trouble even getting its hands on oil or something because it was $4.40 while everywhere else was $1.xx. It was mental.

That had to have been an accident
