Couple quick notes while I look into this more…
They keep mentioning direct injection and how scary it is people piggy back/tune 335is with no issues.
On the hypervisor issue and crypto keys that can’t ever be obtained  http://games.slashdot.org/story/12/10/23/220216/ps3-encryption-keys-leaked & http://www.examiner.com/article/ps3-hack-is-said-to-be-irreversible-with-the-leak-of-lv0-ps3-encryption-keys
There are also attacks agaisnt TLS
Yah plus Cobalt SS, EcoBoost and Mazda Speed guys are doing it too. IDK
Direct Injection definitely adds a level of complexity, but yes plenty of tuners are working with it.

Exactly, that guy posting is acting like it’s the first DI system on the market and NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO USE IT AND IT COULD BLOW UP AT ANY TIME.
Someone will decrypt the ECU shortly after it’s released.

I posted in the thread since 90% of LS1Tech are rednecks hopefully he will be happy to have a technical discussion.

Why even worry about ECU tuning??
You can buy an AEM for like… $600.
Bam, Done.

I doubt the AEM runs the direct injection
Historically GM pcms were easy to tune and still passed inspection
