Timing belt issus

i replaced my timing belt after replacing my headgasket and when i went to manually crank the engine i got the cranshaft to do one rotation but then the belt got extremely tight stopped half way through the second

why would this be?

i do know that i might have put my cam gears on the wrong sides but i dont think that should matter cause there the exact same but i dunno

could it just be because i didnt hit my timing marks right?

and could i have bent my valves from just trying to hand turn it after it wouldnt go no more?

it would be the valve springs putting pressure on the cams and tightning the belt there is pressure in the cylinders so its pushing back on it! but if its getting EXTREMLEY tight that u can not turn it anymore then u have a major problem, but there should not be any problems if u just rmoved ur head! ints not like u had to take out ur cams or anything like that! just the 8 bolts that hold on the head!

give a little more description of how bad the tension is!
