since this is a tire related thread i’ll ask about my question too. I’m in need of some serous traction for next year. I have 2 options. take my slicers (16"X6") get some 225 50 or 55 slicks for the track and buy a second set of tires to mount on my ungodly heavy 17"s (30lbs + each at least) for the street. or the option I much prefer. buy a set of rims from SHOnutperformance.com they are 16X8’s and weigh 15lbs each. I can also get 13" brakes under them.
For tire size I would be running 255/50/16 if I get those rims. what is a really agressive tire that will last one season, probably 2 roadcourse sessions too.
