Here’s the desktop, not going to compete with sandy bridge and sandy bridge-e, but it holds its own :lol. Built it before sandy bridge came out (2010).
Will post from laptop in a sec.
edit: laptop stock bought summer of this year

Happy to see my 9550 is, score wise, not that far off from some of you Core i5 guys. I’d expect you guys to be easily walkin me.
Heres my laptop but only on the trial 32 bit Geekbench. Someone should send me a trusted torrent link :ninja
I’m not even posting my score… old ass hardware :rofl
Now I’m getting an itch to upgrade
people still care about the mac vs pc debate? fuck i’m so glad i don’t care about anything computers anymore and got rid of any major to deal with it…but then again people are still dem vs rep when its all the same shit…
I ran this shit on my $390 Asus laptop and I got 8000 something last night. Pretty fuckin’ good if you ask me. Overclocking FTMFW! WEI scored the CPU as 6.5 stock, OC’d it hit 7.3. Not bad for a welfare special.
Are you guys running the 32bit demo or the full program? how much of a difference in the scoring do you think it would have?
I ran the demo on mine. I grabbed a full version last night and ran it on my laptop, the difference was pretty substantial between the two was substantial although the 64 bit test I ran on 2.1.7 and the 32 bit demo is 2.2.3 IIRC?
My wonderful laptop @ work:
Dear Stewart’s Shops Corp,
The museum called and asked for its fossil back. :rofl
Hey aint nothing wrong with the D630’s, things are tanks. I like dell, but i swear they make their computers out of fine china over the past couple years :lol
Yea I ran the Demo on my machine to, I’d like to see what 64bit says.
Lol!
:rofl
some people just build systems and bench mark, and nothing else.
it’s like building a car and just keeping it on the dyno , and never doing anything else other than doing pulls each day lol
weird geeky shit
I game the SHIT out of my lappy! :lol
My mid 2009 13in MBP with 2.26ghz got a 3212. Is that good for a stock(lol) computer?
It’s a test of the processor, memory and how fast they can talk to each other really. The OS has little to nothing to do with this test. That seems right on par for those specs.
i dont even wanna really know what my laptop is gonna do score wise in here. 2.0 ghz processor, 4 gb of ram. gonna dowload this for shits and giggles
Edit: 2406. meh
Nicks computer an i7-2600k on average scores 11.5k 32 bit vs 12.5k on 64 bit.
I could easily build a computer for half the price of an imac with an i7 that benchmark close to nicks and possibly higher.
The average i7 2600k imac is at 11.5k on a 32 bit benchmark and the average i7 2600k on a PC is at 12.1k, it doesn’t differentiate 32bit vs 64 bit for the windows version, I wonder why and we can only assume most are using the free 32bit version.
I wouldn’t get a mac purely for performance. I would buy one for some greatly practical uses. For the laptops the magnetic plug is a reason and the only reason I need to buy a macbook air, My wife always has her cord wrenched in one direction or another. I love the touchpad features for 2 finger scrolling etc.
