Tom Brady: Most Hated man in Buffalo?

I wouldn’t say elderly. I’ve had a serious change of heart when it comes to going out and getting shit faced and doing goofy shit. I’d rather drink a bottle of wine with another couple at my house than do jagerbombs on Allen St.

pinkies up

Becks nuts hurt from boxxa riding on them so hard.

:2011:

You can find me using that area 2-3x a week running, and once the buffalo tri group negotiates with the NFTA I’ll be swimming where the old peir was this spring I hope too. I use the shit out of that whole area.

word has it there will be ice skating/pond hockey there if we get a winter next year

There is talk of the “Pier” slip & the Union Ship Canal they’ve redone as well.

I spent about half of last summer down there. I can’t wait for them to build the bridge.

There has def. been quite an evolution…

Broken record here, “The answer is jobs.”

NYC has millions of millionaires to spend money, Buffalo does not. End of story.
I give Croce a lot of credit for going out on the limb for Buffalo.

No. He just has the same viewpoint and doesn’t think that because someone lived here their whole life, Buffalo is the greatest city ever and people should thank their lucky stars they have the opportunity to be exposed to poverty, ground chemicals, and Chippewa.

I was just at Bass Pro again and the place is always a ghost town if you ask me. I don’t know how they make any money.

I could understand why people who think “doing stuff” means going to a bar or club and socializing would think Buffalo sucks.

For people who actually have interests and hobbies Buffalo is a great place to live, work and play.

There is a lot of things to do here, yes. If you have been to other smaller cities around the country tho, it is not that unique. Festivals, culture, food, parks, concerts, and bars all exist in cities. Some are better than others but if you have spent a long stay of time elsewhere, you will quickly see that there is a lot lacking.

I think the long term sustainability of this city is what a lot of people have a problem with that I have gotten into discussions. It is nothing like Oakland that has nothing going for it but there is no real drive by the law makers to really push people to do more and get more money into the systems and the budget deficits that result from the reduced tax income is a perfect example. There is just no long term goals for the middle class what has been said before.

Perfect example is why give first time home buyers who fall under the 30k a year mark money to buy a house in the city? Why not give that say up to 5,000 to middle class who is making above average pay an incentive to move into the city, pay taxes into the system which will increase their budget, and also motivate other people to help grow an area? They compared Buffalo to Detroit during the collapse. Yes, parts of Detroit are still bad but they have a lot programs to help move people back into areas that are actually working and have income.

Detroit? Now you are getting into Political corruption which is a whole different can of worms. lol We are waiting for Byron Brown, etc to save our city but if their pockets aren’t heavily lined nothing will happen. Reason number 999999999 that less govt involvement is better.

Gorgeous!!! We walked through there at the end of February… what a difference!!

Amazing.

It’s quite the building and easy to get to… unless the Governor is going the same night you’re planning on being there, lol.
