Tons of water from exhaust

So I’ve seen slow drips from an exhaust but never one that squirts like she just saw my meme collection….

Coworkers car, 2024 Equinox. It was down to under a 1/4 tank so I’m guessing it’s just burning off some shitty gas? Left a puddle 3’x1.5’ that someone noticed so we had her move and it and noticed it was leaving another puddle. Definitely just pure water, not coolant or any oil.

Is that from a cold start? Could just be condensation build up.

Left the first big puddle after she got here, parked and came inside. Engine didn’t seem that warm when I got pulled into this mess when I came back from lunch (“Hey car guy, take a look at this”) so I’m not sure how long it had been there. I didn’t notice if it was there when I left for lunch since it’s a white Equinox and it blends in with all the other lame vehicles here. We asked her to move it so I could see for sure what the fresh puddle was since it was hard to tell with the first puddle since it had mostly soaked into the pavement/evaporated and was just a wet spot.

Probably fine.
Try a few hot laps and make sure it stops.

Was it humid out? It should be better or worse depending on weather.

If she wants to test it, maybe run it in the garage with the door shut. the longer she stays alive, the better it is working.

To much? lol

It wasn’t misfiring or anything. I’m guessing combo of the 70% humidity according to WeatherBug and being low on gas and maybe some questionable gas. Just never seen an exhaust piss that much water and wondered if anyone else had.

What’s it dripping from? The cat?

just draining out of the mufflers drain hole

As long as there’s no smoke coming out of the exhaust, it’s probably just condensation then.
