what a showoff… :ninja
wow that setup is sick…
Can this radiator mount be made with the stock radiator tho?? I see theirs a aftermarket radiator on there…Im wondering if this can be done with the stock one?? Do you know the width of the after market one compaired to the stock one??
Its a custom mount, you should be able to use any radiator you want.
now is that mounted from the top only?? Or did you mount it from the bottom also.
I’m tellin your Dad your not being nice to me.
The stock rad support was removed…was alot of work and not somthing you want to consider. There are no good custom radiators on the market, or I would own it…that fits and flows well under the stock support.
Jammer decided to show up eh?..now all we need is Jazz :lol
Thats a custom radiator cause the support isnt any higher than stock. I think the support was cut and fabricated that way so the ICs and charge piping had more room. I’ll bet its a 15" tall radiator
Correct, in my case at least, the support was lowered to prvide room for charge pipes. The radiator is a cross-flow, but not well positioned inlet and outlet wise, as compared to stock.
Been here now and then… just busy with life… time to think about boost again…and more importantly,. twisties.
I recognize that car now! Its the turbo 30th convertible T/A. Its difficult to recognize a car by just the engine bay but the blue and white charge piping gave it away
that looks awesome. more pix plox
are you talking about the one that goes down to the lot with the full roll cage?? I thought that was a LS1 trans am, which makes it newer then 30th anniversary.
No it’s the 30th Anniversary T/A…and yes it is the one with the cage that goes to the lot.
OO so its a LT1. Weird, I thought it was a LS1…I have never looked at it up close in person, just always assumed.
Edit: I dont think thats the same car you guys are talking about…if you go back and look at the first photo he posted, You can see the edge of the plastic Intake Manifold that only came on the ls1’s…that makes that car he posted a 98-02…which eliminates the 30th anniversary from the lot.
It is the 30th anniversary from the lot, i know the guy…It’s a 1999 30th Anniversary.
That would be the only year they made the 30th anniversary :crackup
lol i threw the year in there because he was saying it wasn’t a 98-02 and that it eliminated the 30th that goes to the lot (which is Jammer’s)
ooo nevermind your correct…i was getting confused between the camaros and trans am’s cause the 30th camaro was a 97 LT1…forgot trans am’s were made 2 years later.
I was just bustin balls bud
joe was that the car thats trailered to the lot every once in a while? and always has “transmission problems”
