Toyota FT-86 / Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S *NOW TURBO*

looks like a g37/35

Or a Genesis. But looks are not what’s going to sell this to enthusiasts, it’s the FR + Motor.

Has some LFA styling cues too, looks nice. Its subaru powered correct?

It looks cool to me, i don’t know if it’s the lighting or the color, I feel like I can’t see all the body lines, the back looks a bit weird.

Looks like a ricer got a hold of the front bumper… then moved to the fenders with some M5 flare… and then didn’t stop there, continuing to the back of the car too.

So, what exactly are the rice boys supposed to do if the car already comes with a gaudy body kit on all sides? Maybe they’ll come out with an even worse body kit with LED’s EVERYWHERE…

there is NO way it will come out looking like that

That’s sexy.

I do not like it.

I can dig it.

seeing the lines around the wheels it will sit significantly higher in production

Teaser for Another concept being released next week.

oh yay, another pre-production mule

Wasn’t this supposed to be out in 2012? Is that still going to be the case?

  • Isn’t this

And yeah, I think so.

I like the side shot but the front and the back no thanks

I don’t hate it (which is rare for me and a toyota product). That being said, how long is this car going to remain a “concept” that they just keep repainting and putting new bumpers on and showing at auto shows?

Gotcha, I was kinda sharing the same feelings as MPD47 and starting to doubt this would ever make it to production.

supposed to be released fall of 2012, subaru will be a year or so behind if they even bring it to the states

FT-86 ~ 200hp
BRZ ~ 300hp

The new Subaru BRZ coupé will have the lowest centre of gravity of any production car when it goes on sale next summer, according to the manufacturer.
Power outputs, however, will differ with a Subaru-spec ECU liberating the BRZ’s power to “less than 300bhp,” compared with the FT-86’s 200bhp figure.
The Subaru BRZ will be unveiled at the Tokyo show next month.

I actually like both concepts.
