tpms driving me insane

Does anyone have a tool to read the sensor code/activate the sensors? I have the sensor id’s and an ateq tpms reset tool but the damn light keeps coming back on after a few miles of driving after i flash the car. I am guessing either i have the wrong sensor IDs or the sensors arent turning on.

TPMS = :bigtdown:

ugh, same boat, just got some 17’s and blizzaks mounted on my sti, but umm…no TPMS…I wish I could just pull a fuse or somthing

man even vw’s have a snow tire option on the dash. what kind of vehicle smith?

Black tape. Usually the light will go back off once the original wheels go back on. Unless like Smith said they are there and just not being read.

i had tpms on my cobalt to. those things are like a love hate relationship! they started to give me problems after switching wheels so often.
Did you try taking it to a dealership? i know stupid question?

VW can be shut off via Vag-com…

got all the stuff to clone and adapt sensors, what kind of car?

Its a 2010 WRX. I would rather not take it to the stealership but it is an option. I am somewhat sure I simply need to activate the sensors. :gotme:

just pull out the bulb out of the cluster, know that your tires are ok and periodically check the pressure and forget about it

bring it to dunn tire i can turn it off.

Thanks for the offer stealership took care of it no charge. :tup:
