In my case, I dont trust 20 year old pyrotechnics in my face, hence the stock airbags in both my 5 series and my 951 being removed for Sparco comp wheels.

i remember reading on an e30 forum some guys airbag in his late model e30 went off in his face when he hit a pot hole, breaking his arm, nose, and jaw.
