It’s my first time having to go to court for a speeding ticket and I am not prepared yet. My trail date is this Thursday. Is it possible that I can change my trial date? If so how would I go about that?

The court date is scheduled so that all the ppl ticketed by the cop on that day will have their trials together.
In my case the cop had like 8 different cases and he did show up.
i think u need to give a 24 or 48 hr notice if u want to reschedule a trial date
File for disclosure so u can build a good defence. good luck
i went about 2 weeks ago for my ticket, the cop told me they HAVE to show up for court now, and that my 30 over ticket got dropped to a 10 over, its traffic court. i just went in and said i dont think i was going that fast… then he said oh… ok went from 4 points and 450 bucks to no points and 50 bucks.
just go in and say, somthing lame and you will get off, they dont care at all. unless its for somthing like 50 over
…then your just clean fucked.
