cliff huckstable notes ?

I’m tired of the law…S Greensburg Cops hassled me over going the wrong way on a one way street the other night. I told him, if there’s no sign at the entrance of the street how the hell am I supposed to know. He said let this be a warning…I said a warning of what? He just shut his flashlight off and left…

Claim auto racing on your taxes (nice deductions) or race for money = you’re in business and subject to DOT BS

reading is fundamental and beneficial…try it

Logbook! ohhh shit!

im friends with a few ppl that drive trucks for a living… they have 2 logs… one real log, so they can keep track, and a fake incase they get stopped… all you would need is to have a log book with some shit already wrote down, you would be golden…

Its dick that they are messing with ppl that are just going to race, or just going to show a car, but its an easy problem to solve (just lie)

I know guys who overload a tandem trailer instead of buying a triaxle to haul their racecar so that they have a better chance of getting away from the dot BS. example not have to go to weigh stations and can make better time without having to stop. A lot of crap that is being regualted that shouldn’t IMO.

some hefty fines!!! i know someon who got a $5000 fine for going over a bridge with a weight limit and not having the tags down in oakland…
it sucks

get caught with a false log…BIG fines.

It’s stupid that they would require log books in the first place. The trucks don’t have air brakes, etc. There’s no CDL required for a dually w/ trailer. Our drivers at work running around in pickups and one tons don’t have to carry a logbook…neither do mixer drivers. Only flatbeds and boom trucks.

Nevermind. Just read the requirements. You are exempt if you are within a 100 mile radius of base. That’d explain why we’ve never been required to keep logs at work.

Sucks for them. On the other hand i’ll never tow a car to a track of any kind unless it lacks plates. Guess i’m a street car die hard.

so am i but in the event the car breaks i’m going to have my own way to get it home instead of frantically calling someone

I only saw them mention Wisconson and Iowa, and he got the 65 pages of details from Iowa.

fuck the police.

^^^ yup…
