what kind of GPA do you need to transfer to UB…
i currently go to Canisius, and im debating transfering to UB next year for my junior year…what do you guys think…thanks for the input…
you need at least a 2.0 when i was thinking about ub
i have like a 2.8…not awesome…but i didnt get in from HS with a 85 ave…i also applied really late tho
but considerin my 2.8 is from canisius, a somewhat harder school, i think that might help
Believe me Canisius is no harder than UB. But yeah, the 2.8 should be sufficient, I suggest just emailing the admissions office with a general question. And yeah, they should look at your Canisius academic standing favorably. I got into UB with a 84 HS GPA though, so im kinda intrested in what happened. I did have a 1300 SAT though.
It depends what department your transfering to though. My highschool average was like an 89 and i did not get into the enigineering department. But i was able to tranfer into it
Why do you want to move, stay at Canisius trust me on this one. Been there done that

UB is the 48th ranked buisiness school, If you plan on staying in Buffalo stay at Canisius.
If you dont plan on staying here go to UB, as soon as you leave the area not too many people know what canisius is. UB gets more recognition.
