Does anyone know a good shop that does transmission work around Rockland county?
A friend has a Toyota Corolla with an automatic transmission that “died”. Apparently that car was shuddering a lot at idle and now it wont move. There is AAMCO and some others around here but I really dont trust franchise shops. I’m hoping someone knows a local shop that does honest quality work.
I went to an AAMCO once to have an automatic transmission rebuilt on my first 300zx and everything went great. And they had a good warranty if I remember correctly.
There’s a transmission shop across from dunkin donuts on 59 where car club hangs out…I forget what it was called but I heard they do good work
