There’s a thread from 09 about it… but I’ll make a new one because I like to spam the shit out of shit.
Trees are about 12-14ft from my house. Electrical service line runs about 4ft behind the trees in the pics below, so you can’t drop them back in the corn field.
The trees are more or less trimmed above my gutters, so they offer no privacy, don’t block noise, and don’t block wind. However they do offer the chance to fall on my house… None of which I consider positives.
So I want them all down, they can all be left on the property. I can take care of bucking them myself since I burn.
Anyone do tree services? Or can recommend a legit contractor? Obviously I’m going to copy all their information and make sure they’re legit before they begin work.
I sent out 12 emails today to people on craigs… Not the most ideal place to find someone though. I’ll probably plant the area with boxwood or something… Not sure yet.
I already had one come down a few feet from my house (and the room that I sleep in!) that I didn’t get a chance to take down myself since I was busy with other things… Landed on my propane tank a few inches from the regulator
