Thats what they used circa 1956. probably lasted 20 years just fine.

Never before on this forum have more true words been spoken.
This corner was much easier than where I started. Trying to make a nice level course of block was a huge waste of time and energy.
Starting to put the cabinets and such back in place…
found some stuff I want to turn into an art project someday.
Probably not worth much scrap wise.
