On a serious note, My cousin is a State Trooper and hes part of the Buffalo area Swat team. I worry for him everyday.

I want to apologize for my earlier post. This is one of those cases that I feel very strongly about and I flew off the handle a bit after the post about “it’s all speculation”.
Lets look at some FACTS
- He has been a career criminal all his life. Stealing cars, burglary etc. He has been convicted of these crimes.
- He broke out of jail after he was arrested on a parole violation from a previous burglary conviction
- He shot a State Trooper in the stomach, on a back country road, and left him to die.
- He has stolen approximately 15 cars since escaping in April.
- He is costing us, the taxpayers, a boat load of money.
- He has stated to the people helping him that he was rather commit suicide by cop than go back to jail.
- He has threatened the police after his family was arrested for helping him.
None of these are speculation, they are facts in the case.
In addition, the following are likely:
- He more than likely broke into a gun store in PA and stole a lot of firepower.
- He more than likely shot two more police officers, which a high powered rifle he probably got in PA. One of these officers was shot in the back, and the bullet went through his bullet proof vest.
I am all for innocent until proven guilty. Hell, I thought Scott Peterson should have gone free, even though in my gut I was sure he did it, because there wasn’t enough hard evidence. At any point since his escape Bucky could have turned himself in and let the system go to work. Even now, for those of you who are sure he didn’t commit these two shootings last night… why doesn’t he turn himself in then? If he’s innocent, go to the news, a lawyer, a church, someone who will help get you handed over in front of cameras so there is no chance of a cop simply shooting you on the spot.
No, the fact is even Bucky knows he is guilty, and thats why he won’t turn himself in. He has given himself only two choices at this point; keep running or be killed. He has reduced himself to nothing more than an animal backed into a corner and we all know what happens at that point. Anyone who comes between him and freedom is a valid kill in his mind.
People need to realize this isn’t some movie where Harrison Ford’s character, a good doctor with no criminal past is wrongly setup. This is a career criminal with nothing to lose, and every day he is still on the run is another day more innocent people are put at risk.
