my guess is you need a new clutch and a fresh tranny
I think the clutch is still good it catches and doesn’t slip except for that one rip, I hope the tranny isn’t shot tho
that trans was redone when the new motor was built. i guess anything can happen though, i have a bag of trans parts some good some bad to go with all the other stuff, whenever you want to come get it
Ok sorry I went away to Jamaica for awhile I haven’t gotten the parts off u I hope there not in the way I’ll try and come get them this week, I don’t think it’s the trans tho I really think it’s the linkage or something along those lines cuz it doesn’t pop out high rpm or grind or anything
It sounds like the clutch isent working right? Does it feel tight? does it grab right off the floor?
the clutch grabs normally it feels normal catches normal everything seems the same to me just doesnt wanna go in gear.
You Could have bent a linkage. I have an Extra Set if you want to take a stab at it?
do you have any openings at ur shop? i wanna get it fixed i just dont have the time for anything anymore im so busy with work and school starting up
its all good. whenever you want to swing by just let me know
Hey joe I tried calling you today around 4 to see about having you check it out, get back to me if you have anytime
so when you buyin my 35r lol
Soon as I figure out if I have to buy a new tranny or not lol
posted some new pics
my bet is a broken spring in the clutch disk. unless it has an unsprung disk. that tranny just got completely rebuilt like a year and half ago
it’s a 6 puck un sprung
It feels like once u push it into 3rd it doesn’t wanna let go it feels like it’s caught like draggin on something coming out of gear
does it slide in and out of all the gears without the engine running?
Except 3rd it’s hard to get in 3rd and out
yeah, you fucked the tranny up then if it’s doing it without the engine running. unless you ran over a giant log or cinder block i highly highly doubt you bent the shift linkage. of course if you ran over a giant log or cinder block, you’d probably be looking at worse problems than a transmission that is giving you trouble in 3rd gear
The tranny is just rebuilt travis said, I just have a hard time seeing it being the tranny, it’s possible but idk what unless a fork is bent
i know it’s rebuilt, i’m the one who rebuilt it for him. we put everything new except for 1st and 2nd gears in it. honestly, you could have a brand new transmission from honda with 0 miles on it, beat on it once and destroy it.
