my next project on my 240 is to turbo it ive got a de in good shape what is the best route?
getting a turbo.
pre fabbed kit from greddy… everythig u need in one box with one price.
just hope u got a decent budget… reliable ka-ts cost just asmuch as sr20 swaps
1st step or best route would be to sell the KA and pickup a CA or SR but thats just me…

Good luck, hopefully you do it right your first time. A lot of people go through 2 or 3 ka’s before they get it right.
i’d say go with sr same price and less milage

Ok well if his plan is to turbo a DE than why is everyone saying SR this and that…Don’t cheap out on the DE turbo, talk to bing as he has plenty of parts available and do it up!

But if you have a KA24de turbo it.
If you need some help let me know. at 14psi i did 344whp on stock internals with 550cc injectors and a custom chip tune by me.
The torque that a KA makes makes a SR hide its tail.
Alot of people here play with a S-afc and think they can tune, that is why alot of people say KA’s are not reliable, the truth is with a proper tune they run just as good if not better than stock.
