hey guys i got my silvia here and it has a s15 ballbering turbo on it BUT the seal is blown i need a blace that can rebuild it! any ideas on a cheap place in alberta? or would i need to search farther for a place?

Should be a couple of places in town. I’m not sure where, but I’ve heard there are some. I know of one shop that re-builds turbos, but they do it for Semi’s and tractors and stuff, so I don’t think they have the equiptment to do that small of a turbo. I think I asked him once and he said that it wasn’t that feesable.
sometimes it isnt always feesible but still doable …
i am thinking i should just order a new center section just to be safe, cuz the turbo was obviously ran hard if it was pushing 300hp on a ca18, there is a good deal of shaft play side to side and back n forth so i might just go that rought

Of course everything is doable, it’s just a matter of how much you want to dish out. He just said it wasn’t appropriate for the amount it would cost.
If anyone is desparate, I can always email him and ask a little more in detail.
are u saying u will get more info of that semi shop that rebuilds turbos cuz if so u should do that for me or give me the numbers to that shop so i may talk to them!
