I just need to figure out which plasma to get. I have seen stuff on avsforums about discs and no side bars through stretching etc for break in if that is what you mean.
i downloaded a burn in dvd from avs forums, ran it for a few days, it was just a color gradiation dvd, nothing special but it prevents burn in.

UPDATE:
I ordered a Pioneer 5080 and I should have it next week. I tried to give the business to Speakershop, but they only sell Pio Elites. Anyways, there is a pretty good review on cnet and the set seems to be pretty popular with everyone over at avsforum.
