loving my 6l80e in my gt. 2nd gear gets me sideways and third gear barks the tires and all I did was tune the transmission with my laptop. I have not owned a manual car since my silver bmw and even that car I was having a PG built for. Sometimes it just gets to a point where its not worth the hastle. Im prepping the g8 for some consistant track duty, and a manual isn’t consistant.

Spent some time and cleaned it up, looks like new. Came out of a 2002 GMC van wreck. Apparently has 70k miles on it. Now to figure out what to do with it lol.

I’m thinking a th400 would have fit your goals much better. What rpm are you going to be able to spin the motor to when it’s all dialed in and ready to rock? Near 7k?
Just another bulletproof J&J engine. Most turbo and supercharged combo don’t need to be revved to the moon. I can check on the dyno once the trans is in but I would guess with a tight turbo stall it will peak just over 6000 and shift at 6300-6400

What makes you say that? I drive this car a lot on the street so i def wanted the o/d. Shifting probably right around 6500.
