funny thing is the guys on cgp were talking about performance with the tdi
236 lb ft of torque from 2.0l = 118lb ft per Liter
280 lb ft of torque from 3.8l = 74 lb ft per Liter
hp is always going to win out from gas to diesel but torque is touque and having a motor thats half the size make just 40lb ft less is just a slap in the face to that motor.
oh and as for porsche being not known for reliability
