I switch my ecu every year…before AEM I was PowerFC. I loose a lot of money doing it but I learn a tonne and it’s really the only way to become familiar with more systems.

The car ran really well on aem but I can already tell, even with the state of tune that is on the car now, it will run considerably better with the autronic. I’ll probably run the Autronic for one season and will then cut it out and likely run a ViPec.

oh gotcha. i just bought a aem from varun and you were the one he suggested to have tune it so ill probably be talking to you sometime in the spring

I haven’t seen many nistune cars up here yet…still relatively new. Thet being said I’ve tooled with their software a bit and it is a breeze…

how did u like the apexi pfc? i think im going to use that on my rb

I actually love PFC, both in my car and in customer cars. I’ve tuned oodles of them from sr20’s to rb’s to rotaries and the results are always really good for street cars. The pfc lacks some of the extra junk that you may find in something like an EMS or SM4, but if you have a mild build (larger turbo, mafs/map, injectors) and only plan on running one fuel, I’d recomend PFC 8 times out of 10.

Also, as much as the commander is not a tuning tool, I think it is a great monitoring tool to have in the car and always suggest it.

Finally got some time to tune the car. Tuning the Autronic was a breeze. I love when a system actually behaves like you expect it to.

Below is a graph at 15psi. The two graphs are the exhaust open and closed. Open the car made 335/305 - stock cams and stock manifolds
