UAW negotiations

Giving up job banks I guess is the first step:

I had no idea what a job bank was until I read:

When UAW autoworkers are laid off, they receive a combination of unemployment benefits and supplemental pay from their employer for 48 weeks. If they remain laid off beyond that, they move to the jobs bank, where the company provides about 95% of their pay and benefits. Until the most recent contract, people could remain in the jobs bank for years.

that’s F-ing unreal… I can’t believe this. I want a union job just so I can get laid off.

so far so good.
This should be very interesting to see what changes take place. Keep us posted as best you can. Btw what happened in your big meeting last week?

My buddy that I bought my house from was laid off for about 12-14 months before getting PAID 70k to transfer down south so that he could make more money doing less… it is absolutely amazing.

Unions suck!

And people wonder why I wont drive a UAW made car

Basiclly we are banking of bank holding status to get some TARP money.
Also, we are going to market and buying some of our bonds or swaps to the tune of $38 Billion.
