I am currently collecting unemployment. I wasn’t laid off but i am not working because lack of work in the company. My question is, If i work one day because there is work, will that mess up my unemployment. Or is that an option to say what day i work and i wont collect for that day? thanks
You should be telling the state every week how many days you worked.
Yes you can claim you work one day, collect less money for that week, and your benefits will be extened.
as long as u don’t work more than 4 days a week u will still get paid.
For example, if you work tomorrow and don’t work again til next Mon, you will only lose pay for tomorrow and get paid for today, Wed, Thurs and Fri as long as you don’t work.
You will just certify benefits for day’s you didn’t work.

there should be an option for reduction in work, as long as you don’t work more than 30 hours in a week you are eligible for unemployment benefits, fair warning you current company might not like that you are doing this.
they know about it already… work is just so slow they cant keep me on for regular pay ha.
if it’s not on the books don’t claim it.
