Updated Pictures of my CTS-V

It is not light. Driving my buddies new WRX this past week, made the difference very clear. I almost stalled mine when I got back into it.

Beautiful car! Looks beast.

I see what you did there.

Those r the best rims for that car, luv these cars.

Well it is the only style available from the factory. Painted, chrome or black.
I haven’t fallen in love with any aftermarket offerings, but wheels are typically a year 2 or 3 purchase in my car buying lifecycle.

Ron let me know when you come to buffalo with this thing… i wanna see how i match up. Car is looking great

car looks real good!

Where are those picture taken?

My parking garage just north of the Ren Cen in downtown Detroit.

I really liked the pictures from my old garage, but the short daily walk makes up for the decreased photo opportunities.

Maybe I will give you a shout. Scott asked the same thing. I usually swing by Mighty at least one night when I am home to see if anyone is hanging out. Granted I don’t know if the V will be making another trip over to Buffalo this year.
But I really hate “setting up a race”. I can be a parnoid over thinker at times and if I ended up getting a ticket over something like that I would be pissed at myself. If I line up with something spur of the moment I will almost always throw down. Or just meet up at the track.

Awesome CTS-V…hoping, waiting, wishing on eventually picking up a lightly used '09 Thunder Gray MT6 sedan, no sunroof, recaros, and painted wheels. Been obsessing about these before they were even available back in '08. For now I am content w/ my DD SRT8 Jeep. And yeah, Scott is itching very much so to race a CTS-V. Wants me to plant a thread on cadillac forums for local WNY V’s!

Yeah I was hoping and praying for lower prices on 09’s and they were holding strong so I bit the bullet and picked up a new '10 leftover.

I ordered blackout tape to eliminate the chrome window molding. We will see if I like it. Nice part is I can just remove it.
I am thinking about plasti dipping the lower rear valence. Currently a flat gray color. I was going to carbon fiber wrap it, but the part is pretty hard to remove without breaking clips from what I have read.

kudos.
I love these.

Pretty damn amazing looking!

A CTS-V right in front of the RenCen. Pretty awesome stuff.

Yeah unfortunately that is not a public lot so I can’t take pictures there any more. I might wash it this weekend and get creative with some locations next week after work.
I want to get one on Belle Island where they used to have the grand prix and have the painted race curbs still.

Looks great…
