Been painfully slow all weekend. database errors…
This and other crap son just doesn’t feel the same…
AND We’re back. I’m not really liking the whole ONLY new post thing. SON doesn’t generete enough post to show only new posts. Bring back the “separation line” and then the below posts that don’t contain new posts. Anyone else with me?

First, Sorry about the downtime. We are good at this point and do not forsee any downtime in the near future. Everything is built and optimized. All that remains is to fix some users who have account issues.
As for the new posts, that is something that I will have to look into for you. I think that it is a good thing to have as well. Hopefully it is a simple point and click solution and I wont have to do something crazy to make it happen for you guys.

I have all of the iTrader stuff saved, just have to move it over when I get some free time. The iTrader that was built for 4.0 isn’t quite polished and presentable yet. I will have that dealt with once I get some of the bigger issues dealt with.
Not sure if this has been covered, But I am having a few problems.
When I go into car chat it used to highlight all the threads that I havent viewed, or have new posts within them. Now it seems to only highlight recent posts/threads. Is it supposed to be that way?
When I click view first unread, it never takes me to the first unread. It either takes me way ahead of the first unread, or it just jumps a few posts ahead but still way behind the first unread lol. Is this something wrong with my browser, or settings? Or does this happen to others.

Now can we use one login for all the sites, like nyspeed, sone and whatever or is that part still separate?
its the same log in but your cookies don’t save across.
It’s an extra degree of separation that should keep people from casually cross posting on other forums.
You’ll notice that there is only 1 NYspeeder posting in SON sections… that’s Joe.

I am working on how the recent posts are displayed. I dislike it and some members have complained. It is part of the 4.0 upgrade, not the merge. I will have to tweak the settings some more.
Yes, your login works across the board. If you had another account on any of the boards, open a helpdesk ticket and I would be more than happy to merge your accounts.

Cross-border car selling is a PITA in my experience…not really worth the hassle unless it’s something rare
i’ve bought two cars in the US and brought them back without issue.
mind you they were 15+ years so it’s really easy.
