Rental car places do not put hitches on their vehicles. Even their pickup trucks. And they do not let you tow with them. I rented a durango before (got a free upgrade), and I rented a dakota before (another free upgrade), and neither one had a hitch. Not even a towball, or a place for a tow ball.
