Urgently need BKR8EIX-11 plugs. Where can I find these

i need to find hopefully today a set of sparkplugs for my GTI-R motor.

BKR8EIX-11 is what was recommended for my motor (found online)

CT/PS all dont have what I am looking for. Can anyone help me find a set for purchase from a shop or something. I found them online, but thats waiting for them to arrive a week so I as a last resort I posted on this forum.

Thanks ppl

you do not need an 8 heat range plug

BKR7E gapped to 35 thou is plenty good

should add. running 14psi with SAFC 3 full exhaust and fmic in a sentra

gapped to 24 thou for 14psi… youll be minty… 35 thou will blow out, cause it to cough at high revs

Iridium is definitely a step up from the usual copper for many reasons, only you yourself should know what’s recommended for your setup. Bkr8eix-11 is definitely recommended for a high hp machine.
Right now I’m running BKR7E copper plugs but will be switching to the BKR7EIX really soon!

Friends don’t let friends run iridium plugs.

where can Bkr8eix-11 plugs be obtained this saturday. NAPA has to order them, so I ll probably go through them, but id rather get the right ones right away.

EDIT: ^^^^^^^^^^^^Why? Alternatives? Reasoning behind this?

I am trying to solve an intermittent problem where my 3rd cylinder stops working. Ive linked it to heat and higher boost levels and ruled out distributor and wires. There is compression, and its getting fuel. Some suggested it might be an injector getting stuck open, but ive yet to test for that.

check the gapping on your plugs… i was having a sputtering issue with oem suggested gapping… bring em in a little tighter, see if it works itself out

Copper plugs give just as good a spark as iridium (if not better, can’t remember) at a fraction of the cost. You could buy like 4 or 5 sets of coppers with the money you spend on 1 set of iridium plugs.

Coppers don’t last as long, but in the long run will be cheaper even if you have to change them more often.

valid point. so im assuming copper plugs canadian tire stocks? any recomendations for my gti-r setup? when i fix boost leak I will be running 14psi.

Crappy tire, partsource, napa, car quest all should have these plugs. Make sure you go there early in the day however, if they don’t have them in stock they should be able to order them before the end of the day (except for crappy tire, they’ll probably tell you they don’t exist and that you’re crazy lol).

Like others said, BKR7ES-11 is what you’re looking for. I would change them every 20k-ish if I were you.

Ask for NGK Stock number “4644” the part number doesnt usually come up as anything for ngk stocks. (i used to work at napa)

Those are NGK V-Power Racing BKR7’s
