Used a G-Tech Pro today.....Ka-T Results...

Well before I put the new clutch in the Ka-t, I wanted to do a 0-60 and quater mile time run. I only did two runs and here are the results. 0-60 first run 6.82sec second run 6.46sec My only 1/4mile run was a 14.47sec. I only have a stock clutch in the car right now and it slips a lot. Car should be in the mid-high 13’s and 0-60 in the 5’s. This is all with a setup that cost around $1000 maybe a little less. Anyone else use a G-tech on their cars? If so put down some results

What boost were you pushing on these runs? Those are pretty good numbers to have on the street!

My car runs a G-tech’d 16.5 @ 84 MPH, but it’s just got an intake. Will likely test again once I get the ACT clutch & light flywheel in, and then again after KA-T on 7 PSI. Hopefully I can pull some mid-low 14’s at around 7 pounds.

Nice work…

dont use a g-tech, go to a dragstrip.

Says he who lives 15 minutes from Cayuga

Don’t worry, I will…

Tmp is actually about 45 minutes from here if there is no traffic, closer to an hour.

AND If you read the G-Tech manual, it says to do 5 runs then drop the high run and the low run, then average the remaining 3. If you screw up a couple do more, then average the good ones.

G-Tech is really only usefull for tuning, that is why they tell you to do use the average, then you tune it and do another bunch.

I did a couple 0-60 runs years ago with my bolt on KA … consistent 6.5 to 60’s
